Hänchen is a highly successful player on the global market with its innovative products. Over 200 employees work for the family-owned hydraulics specialist based near Stuttgart in Southern Germany.
Since 1952 Hänchen has delivered more than 100.000 hydraulic actuators worldwide. For this reason the development and production of low-friction high-performance hydraulic servo actuators for testing applications (e.g. automotive, aerospace, test engineering) and heavy industries (e.g. steal plants, rolling mills, tooling machinery, die casting) is a core competence.
The servo actuators combine flexibility with cost saving potential. Piston diameter and stroke can be chosen in mm-steps. Sealing and guide system can be selected according to requirements.

Low-friction high-performance hydraulic servo actuator
The typical applications of Hänchen servo actuators include establishing the mobile safety of vehicles, the operational reliability of machines or the functional integrity of individual products, the testing of exhaust-gas systems, and much more.
Hydraulic rod clamping unit
The development of specific solutions is no problem for the Hänchen specialists. The rod clamping units are used for example in hydraulic presses and injection moulding machines.
Cylinder for ingot oscillation
Servofloat quality with the patented floating annular gap seal, that exert a force of 400 kN.
At 1.5 Hz in normal operation and a maximum frequency of 3 Hz, they oscillate during normal production with a stroke of ±3-4 mm.
Each linear drive can perform up to 200 million load changes before a check and general overhaul has to be made.
